Zurab Chigogidze, businessman and telecommunications and media investor, has found his passion: winemaking. Keeping with ancient Georgian traditions, he created a brand that isn't just about making good wine; it mirrors the very essence of Georgia, its history and cultural atmosphere. Armed with the best winemaking technologies and devotion for his motherland, he set his sights on an ambitious goal: to create a fresh symbol of Georgia, a fresh connotation in people's minds. As it stands, the project is noncommercial in nature and aims to bolster the prestige of Georgian winemaking traditions, wine, and culture.
Chigogidze Wines Aims to revive the rare or lost varietals including Tavkvevri, Shavkapito, and Chinuri. It is located close to the Orbeliani Tower in downtown Tbilisi.
